The villa will be professionally cleaned before your arrival. If anything is not in order, please let us know so that we can make improvements quickly.
- Rubbish, waste
Waste is separated in Istria as follows.

Waste bags can be found on the cover of the waste bins. The large bin liner in the pantry is for empty plastic bottles and Tetra Pak. We recommend using the two large waste bins under the sink as follows.

- Smoking
Smoking is exclusively in the outdoor areas (balcony, terrace). Please use the ashtrays in the top drawer of the summer kitchen.
- Smoke alarm
The building is equipped with a networked smoke alarm system. As soon as one of the 14 smoke detectors is triggered, all smoke detectors sound a loud beeping alarm.
Please leave the building immediately as shown on the evacuation plan on the room door.
A false alarm, e.g. due to excessive steam development during cooking, can be cancelled by pressing and holding the button (red arrow) for at least 3 seconds.
- Insect protection
All windows and exterior doors are fitted with pleated insect screens. Please use them consistently to protect yourself from the pests. The pleated blinds on the doors slide horizontally and snap into place on a magnetic strip with a clearly audible "click".
The pleated blinds run vertically on the windows and are pulled downwards with a cord from the window frame. Approximately in the centre of the window, you can grasp the crossbar of the pleated blind with both hands and push it down further. This then snaps into place on the lower window frame with a "click". To open, the crossbar is pressed downwards with both hands, disengages and pulls itself upwards back into the window frame.
Please leave the building immediately as shown on the evacuation plan on the room door.

- Safe
The safe is located in the cloakroom cupboard on the right. Please leave the safe with the door open on departure and carry out a reset.

Set user code
- Slide the cover on the inside of the door a few centimetres to the right.
- Press the reset button, the buzzer beeps twice.
- The LED on the front lights up blue continuously.
- Enter your personal 4-8-digit numerical code and press the [#] button to confirm.
- The buzzer beeps once and the LED flashes green once to confirm that the numerical code has been successfully accepted.
Save fingerprint
- Press the reset button, the buzzer beeps twice.
- The LED on the front lights up blue continuously.
- Place your finger on the fingerprint reader until the beep sounds twice.
- Take your finger off the reader and put it down again.
- If the signal tone sounds once, the fingerprint has been successfully registered. If the fingerprint registration fails, the signal tone sounds three times.
Repeat the above steps if you want to save more fingerprints. When you have finished, please close the cover on the inside of the door again.
Open safe with numerical code
To open by numerical code, activate the display by touching it, enter the numerical code and confirm with the [#] button. When the LED lights up green, the safe can be opened by turning the dial clockwise.
Closing works by turning the dial anti-clockwise.
Open safe with fingerprint
To open with a fingerprint, simply hold your finger on the reader. When the LED lights up green, the safe can be opened by turning the dial clockwise.
Closing works by turning the dial anti-clockwise.
Reset
Press the reset button for 5 seconds until the buzzer beeps once.
This deletes all stored numerical codes and fingerprints
- Front door key
You do not need a key to the villa. The entrance door opens by fingerprint, which we memorise on your arrival.
- Room key
It is of course up to you whether you lock the room doors or leave them unlocked. In the latter case, you can simply ignore the RFID chip cards. The room doors can be locked from the inside at any time without a chip card.
The room doors open and close with an RFID chip card. You will be issued with two RFID chip cards for each bedroom.
To open or close, press the activation button (red arrow) on the reader and then simply insert the chip card as shown. Then turn the entire knob in the opening or closing direction.
- Room numbers
The rooms are numbered as follows from 1 - 7.
