- Summer kitchen
On the west side of the terrace is the summer kitchen with a sink, gas barbecue, cupboards and drawers.
Attention:
Please do not leave any drinks, food or leftovers in the summer kitchen, otherwise you will find a zoo of creepy-crawlies and insects a few hours later.
- Light the gas barbecue
Firstly, check that both gas regulators on the grill are closed (clockwise).
Then open the gas pressure regulator of the connected gas cylinder in the cabinet under the grill (anti-clockwise).
Remove the lighter from the top drawer. Then remove the grill pan and put it to one side.
Now turn on one gas regulator and immediately light the snake-shaped gas vent with the lighter. Then turn on the second gas regulator and light it. The grill pan can now be placed back on the frame.
- Change gas cylinder
There are two gas cylinders in the cupboard under the barbecue. As soon as one gas cylinder is empty, the second full gas cylinder can be used. We recommend practising changing the gas cylinder before using the barbecue for the first time!
- Close both pressure control valves (clockwise)
- Close the connected gas cylinder (clockwise)
- Unscrew the pressure regulator fitting from the empty gas cylinder.
Attention: The gas cylinder connections have a left-hand thread, i.e. turn clockwise to open! - Connect the pressure regulator to the full gas cylinder. Turning it anti-clockwise by hand is sufficient, you do not need any tools.
- Turn on the connected gas cylinder (anti-clockwise)
- Light the gas barbecue as described above. Please do not forget to use oven gloves to lift the grill pan when changing the bottle while the grill is hot.
Very important! Please let reception know by email or WhatsApp if a gas cylinder is empty so that it can be replaced.
